چکیده

This article considers locating a noncooperative underwater transmitter utilizing multiple receivers, such that each receiver can measure the frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) as well time (TDOA) transmitter’s sound. case where unknown emission changes goes. addresses hybrid TDOA-FDOA localization, under assumption maximum speed is known in advance. To best our knowledge, this unique tackling considering goes on. Under MATLAB simulations, shows proposed localization method comparable to ideal case, time-varying Furthermore, we show approach outperforms estimated wrong value.

Adaptive Extended Kalman Filter Based Geolocation Using TDOA/FDOA

We propose a moving target tracking algorithm using the measurement signals of time difference of arrival (TDOA) and the frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) in this paper. The geolocation system using TDOA measurement does not have enough accuracy to estimate the position of target. We use both TDOA and FDOA measurement signals to estimate the target location and target’s velocity at discret...

Data Compression Trade-offs for Tdoa/fdoa Geo-location Systems

The research results reported on here focus on new data compression methods that can enable Air Force systems to more rapidly and effectively share data for precision geolocation of RF emitters. The work was focused in four areas: (1) New Theoretical Results: We extend the previous rudimentary insight into how to use data compression to accomplish trade-offs between the sequence of tasks in a l...

Performance Analysis of Tdoa/fdoa Estimation for Fm Communication Signals

A study on emitter localization using time difference of arrival (TDOA) and frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) measurements has been increased recently. A TDOA/FDOA system generally consists of two parts: TDOA/FDOA estimation from the unknown received signal (extraction part) and position estimation of the emitter (localization part). Thus, it is important to accurately estimate TDOA and FD...

Impact of MAC Delay on AUV Localization: Underwater Localization Based on Hyperbolic Frequency Modulation Signal

Medium Access Control (MAC) delay which occurs between the anchor node's transmissions is one of the error sources in underwater localization. In particular, in AUV localization, the MAC delay significantly degrades the ranging accuracy. The Cramer-Rao Low Bound (CRLB) definition theoretically proves that the MAC delay significantly degrades the localization performance. This paper proposes und...
